Best time to visit

Dooars can be visited any time of the year. The monsoon months are especially attractive as the forests are at their greenest best. Bear in mind that between Mid June and Mid September the forest safaris are closed and visits inside forest is not possible. The winter months between November and March witnesses maximum tourist visit in Dooars. Costs are higher during this period and you may have to share the watchtower with many others.
