Day 1

Arrival and Transfer to Darjeeling
Arrival at NJP / Bagdogra. After the reception, we transfer you to Darjeeling (75 km in 2.5 hrs). The journey to Darjeeling follows the Hill Cart Road that runs along the forested hills, small villages and beautiful tea gardens. You may have a chance to see the famous Toy train chugging its way on the zig-zag track. Take a short break at Kurseong to see the beautiful valley covered with lush green tea gardens and proceed to Darjeeling. The Queen of Hills - greets you with all its grandeur: the great view of mountains and valleys dotted with tea gardens and forests, and a blend of traditional heritage and modern cultures. Check-in at the Hotel. Spend a free evening at Darjeeling Mall. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 2

Darjeeling Local SightSeeing
Early morning visit to Tiger Hill at 8500 ft above sea level to experience the unforgettable sight of sunrise over the Kanchenjunga Mountains. Visit Ghoom Monastery - one of the oldest Monasteries in Darjeeling, and Batasia Loop - the picturesque garden and War Memorial with the backdrop of snow ranges - on your way back to the hotel. Car service from 4.00 AM to 7.30 AM.

After Breakfast, we will take you to Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday) to see some rare collection of high-altitude Himalayan species like the Snow leopard, Clouded Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Red Panda and many rare mammals and birds in the natural surrounding. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday) to see the priceless collection of mountaineering gear used by legendary climbers in the Himalayas. After that, we take you to the Tea garden on the undulating valleys to view the scenic landscape and tea plucking (seasonal) then proceed to Tenzing Rock and Gombu Rock for some fun rock climbing activity. Now we will take you to the Tibetan Refugee Centre (Closed on Sunday) and Bhutia Basti to procure the traditional handicraft items made by the local people. Visit Ava Art Gallery which houses the unique art and embroidery works of Mrs Ava Devi. Back to the Hotel. Car service from 9 AM to 12 Noon. Evening free. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 3

Return to NJP / Bagdogra
Today morning we recommend a toy train ride from Darjeeling to Ghoom and back for 1.5 hrs (this will be a supplementary cost and will be quoted on request). You should be back from the train ride by 12. Start for NJP / Bagdogra as per your return journey schedule. The tour ends after you reach NJP / Bagdogra.
